This thread seems to have gone dead witout active intervention. Maybe we could give the survey an end date and get a moderator to collate the scores and give a summary? there are on line tools such as https://www.surveymonkey.com/MyAccount_Join.aspx that could be exploited to give more reader friendly summaries too.

Competition = has an end date and a prize for the winner
Poll = intent is to discover something for the sake of knowing, can be ongoing
Survey = intent is to discover something in order to improve or alter something for the better (though in certain circumstances it is possible for some to be better off and some not) , has an end date and sometimes a payment or prize.
Polls and Surveys can be semi interchangeable.
